Welcome to Sung Foundation Ghana (SUFOD), a local Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the Northern Regions of Ghana. At SUFOD, we are on a mission to empower children, women, girls, and marginalized individuals within our operational communities.

Empowering Women Through VSLAs

Meet Amina, a resilient woman from the Northern Region of Ghana, who has seen her life transform, thanks to the Gender and Women Economic Empowerment program at Sung Foundation Ghana.

Amina’s journey began in a small, remote village where opportunities for women to earn a livelihood were scarce. With limited access to education and no financial independence, Amina’s future looked uncertain. However, her life took a turn for the better when she was introduced to Sung Foundation’s Saving for Transformation groups (VSLAs).
